Sufficiency and sustainable social practices

Individual projects

  • In our living lab (Reallabor) at the Hunziker Areal (housing cooperative "mehr als wohnen") in the city of Zurich, we investigate how sufficient behaviours and social practices can be induced by systematically analysed interventions. The Reallabor Hunziker Areal is operated in cooperation with the ZHAW and “mehr als wohnen” and is financially supported by the Stiftung Mercator Schweiz (See also the ETH "Zukunftsblog").
  • To cut CO2 emissions from business flights, the ETH Mobility Platform launched a project to jointly develop CO2 reduction targets and respective measures. The TdLab with the PhD student Agnes Kreil, is responsible for the accompanying research investigating the whole process.
  • In the project "Climate Change Conversations", we aim to develop a supplementary program that picks up where classic campaigning has often left off.
