Research area

My work focuses on innovative and participatory projects that promote transformation in the healthcare system. Transdisciplinary approaches are helpful in promoting dialogue with numerous stakeholders - first and foremost with increasingly competent patients and their family caregivers. As well as with service providers, politicians/authorities, payers, industry or civil society. Despite differing agendas and interests, they can all make a significant contribution to tackling the care crisis with vigour and innovation. At the private households as the primary care location, innovative solutions must prove the complex challenges.

My contribution to this journey is clinical and academic expertise in health and nursing science, embedded in social sciences, combined with many years of research and teaching in higher education, as well as an established professional and academic network in Switzerland and abroad.
