Groups

Cultural Studies of Science Group

We investigate how interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity are practiced, supported, and funded to improve their responsiveness in addressing societal challenges. Our goal is not only to advance knowledge production on these topics, but also to inform the policy and funding sectors.

Environmental Change and Society Group

The group examines societal responses to human-made environmental changes. It explores how diverse forms of scientific and local knowledge can, and do, inform the transformative governance of these changes. We combine transdisciplinary and qualitative social science methods and apply them to issues at the nexus of climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and human well-being.
